Try Double Decker Red. It is a sweet cherry wine from a winery in Aviston, IL.

Generaly, I find Zinfindels and California wines to be sweet.
Also, the people who work at the wine store I go to are usually pretty good at helping me out. You can always try asking them next time.

Try "Red Truck". It’s inexpensive and it rates quite well.

In red wines they leave the skin on the grapes, so they tend to not taste as sweet as white wines. But there’s still sweeter red wines. A lot of wines now have a little graphic on the back that tells you how sweet or dry they are. Dry means not sweet.

This article recommended Port, Merlot, Chianti, or Shiraz

Red Zin’s (which are technically not a red, but never mind they look it) are on the sweeter side. Or if you like really sweet wine try a port. The traditional reds (cab, merlot, shiraz, table red, etc) they don’t tend towards the sweet side, but there are a ton with a fruity taste.

I work at a wine bar and pinot noir is usually a good choice for a lighter red wine. It is less acidic than most other red wines and good for people who are first jumping into red wine
